Deborah Preece-Brocksom ARAD, ex-Ballet Company Director, Choreographer and Soloist. BA (Hons) First Class degree in Dance

Deborah enjoyed a 20 year career as a professional ballet dancer rising swiftly to first soloist and dancing in more than ten Ballet Companies in European State Theatres. She danced all the main classical ballet roles, many contemporary works, musicals and operetta. She was Ballet Company Director in the State Theater Ballet in Coburg Germany and The State Theatre Halberstadt and was choreographer and company trainer to several ballet companies all over Europe, choreographing more than 50 full-length ballets, one acts and triple bills as well as contemporary works, musicals and opera work.

After retiring from professional theatre Deborah started her own Ballet Academy and became Head of Dance for the State Music and Dance Schools of Austria directing the Junior Associate project 'Dance and Young Dancers' for the Austrian government and was Classical Ballet Professor in the Anton Bruckner Dance University.

After immigrating to Australia Deborah has successfully trained Alana Haines Awards finalists and the Winner in 2017 and 2019, Sydney McDonald’s finalists, BPAC and Jacqueline Morland Awards winners and finalists.

Deborah and her husband Richard (ex Royal Ballet) opened their highly successful Vocational Classical Ballet School, The Dance Centre Peregian Springs with ex-students graduating to dance with The Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, The Australian Ballet, Queensland Ballet, Victoria State Ballet and various ballet companies in Europe.
